The Company "EPSILON ENTERPRISE," is in the business of manufacture and repairs of Office Chairs and Sofas under the brand name of "ZODIAC CHAIRS".

"Zodiac Chairs" offers a wide range of office chairs and sofas specially designed to suit different body structures & tasks for all levels of management.

"Chair-Main" offers an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for the existing office chairs.

The Promoters

"The company is a Partnership concern promoted in April 1998.

The core promoter Ms. Bhavna Mehta has done her Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and Masters in Management Studies (MMS) Degree with specialisation in Marketing from Sydenham College affiliated to the Mumbai University. She has over 33 years of experience in marketing and finance.

The promoters have a combined work experience of more than Five decades in the corporate sector.

The Manufacturing Process:
Chairs: -

 We manufacture critical components in mild steel (MS) like the mechanism and stands.
 We outsource other raw material like castors, arms, foam, fabric etc. from other manufacturers who are also suppliers to the other top chair manufacturers in the country.
 We then do the assembly and the upholstery work
 We have state of the art machinery like the ITALIAN make “CAPRI–ATRO’’ Pneumatic Staplers, 5 horse power compressor and other pneumatic tools and spray booth facility

The Peculiar design feature of Zodiac Chair: -

The most peculiar design feature of Zodiac Chairs is “there is no standard design”. The entire chair construction is modular in nature. There are different modules like stand, mechanism, arms, height adjustments, foam, seat, back etc. that make a chair. One could combine different elements from a module and create new designs. (A possibility of innumerable permutations and combinations of different modules and hence millions of designs.) This limits the scope of our catalogue.

Our Status

The Company EPSILON ENTERPRISE and its brand ZODIAC CHAIRS has been independently assessed and found as meeting the requirements of compliance of Sustainability Standard as per BIFMA (ANSI /BIFMA X5.4 – 2020 Public and Office Chair) .The Company has also been independently assessed and found as meeting the requirements of compliance of ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System)

 

Our Infrastructure

The company has a Display at Kalina Santacruz (East) and a factory at Andheri (East).The company has a variable worker staff strength in the production department who are employed on a contract labour basis.
